A New Year’s Eve party is the perfect excuse to wear that sequined dress tucked away in your closet. But if you’re still thinking on what to wear, here are looks you can cop as you welcome 2016.
Combining style and comfort is still a problem when it comes to buying a pair of shoes. Walking in heels is torture and not all flats agree with my feet. I guess that’s the reason why shoes are the last thing I notice in an entire look. It’s also why I’m more excited in buying clothes than a pair of pumps. But it doesn’t mean that I hate shoes altogether, it’s just that I’m better off admiring them than buying them.
I’ve never been a die hard fan of any fashion line, local or international. It’s usually me loving a few key pieces of random brands from different seasons. Still, I have love for local labels here in the PH. So when global brands like H&M, Zara, Topshop, and the likes started coming in, I got a bit worried. But when the people from Bustle took notice of a home-grown brand, I got a bit nostalgic. It took me back to days when Penshoppe was my go-to store back in college.
Summer’s over here in the Philippines and it’s now raining constantly. Despite that I’m still seeing these off-the-shoulder tops a couple of the girls are rockin’. I know that this style has been around for years. I vaguely remember I used to have one when I was younger. Does it mean it’s making a comeback or is it just now that it’s getting popular? Still, I have a love and hate relationship with this particular trend. I love the bare shoulder look but there’s only a few I’m willing to wear myself.
